Sad story
I know everyone in these forums more or less drive the car fast but still, have to be careful and also better judgments.

Oh man, really sobering story.. very sad to hear. Definitely one of my worst fears, we've all played around in our cars, just keep it in the back of your head.
Car wrapped around like that.. with the engine block, solid frame and solid metal, that's a scary site... another car would have literally shattered. I'm not expert but they were going extremely fast. RIP to the boys and condolences to their families

Wow...what a tragedy. Terrible for the families of these young men. Let this be a learning moment for all of us, no matter our age or level of experience...the next time that mustang or C63 pulls up next to you...I hope I'll have the wisdom to take a pass or at least, not take any unnecessary risks.

My take on this is that the initial impact was at the front with a solid object at around 120-140mph then sliding along into the pole sideways with that impact turning the car facing the way it had came on its side. Notice the right hand bend there before the scene.
