Carbon MPerformance style exhaust tips installed

Does the 2018 m5 stock exhaust have those little posts sticking up that need to be cut or do they notch the replacement tips to utilize the locating post? Also do the stock tips come off easy or are they welded?

Stock tips slide off with a wiggle side to side to free them. They are friction fit and there are no alignment tits in the way just straight tubing once removed.

Ordering for a M5 with stock/comp mufflers should all be the same. Let her know you want "the same tips Jordan ordered" and she'll take care of the rest.

The tips are also available in a satin finish on the carbon and stainless tip. If its for something else just email her, they have so many variants to fit just about anything length and ID wise, and can even make something custom if they don't have an off the shelf that will work.


I paid $288 shipped for the set, they came DHL in about 4 days. Crazy quick.

They look pretty decent I must say, but isn't 288$ for replica tips expensive? I found replica tips for much much less! Haven't tried any yet so I cannot comment on or compare the quality.

This is exactly my thought, as we live in the GCC region in Middle East where it goes significantly hot in summer times (50 Celsius / 122 Fahrenheit) and don't think they'll be able to survive that abuse. Can you comment on this?

The factory tip these are made in likeness to is $287ea (18302355889) and these are actually nicer quality when held on both hands. The issue with the factory tips is the poor metal finishing on the inside. These replicas are doubled walled with much cleaner metal work.

I've installed factory tips on clients cars, and installed these, and installed the cheaper ones available.

The cheaper ones all suck. These are nicer than factory and literally 25% of the cost. Four tips for the cost of One sounds nice to me.

Mine still look great.
