Does the 2018 m5 stock exhaust have those little posts sticking up that need to be cut or do they notch the replacement tips to utilize the locating post? Also do the stock tips come off easy or are they welded?

Stock tips slide off with a wiggle side to side to free them. They are friction fit and there are no alignment tits in the way just straight tubing once removed.

This is exactly my thought, as we live in the GCC region in Middle East where it goes significantly hot in summer times (50 Celsius / 122 Fahrenheit) and don't think they'll be able to survive that abuse. Can you comment on this?

I've installed factory tips on clients cars, and installed these, and installed the cheaper ones available. The cheaper ones all suck. These are nicer than factory and literally 25% of the cost. Four tips for the cost of One sounds nice to me. Mine still look great. |
