Tracking shipping vessels to Halifax
Thanks to Javelin for the useful info below:
To determine the ship your BMW is on go to this site: http://www.2wglobal.com/www/WEP/index.jsp Select "all users" underneath were it says track and trace on the right hand side. In the box for Cargo ID, enter your VIN, or partial VIN with % as wildcard. This will give you the ship and estimated arrival date. To track the ship, use this vessel tracker by entering the ships name. http://www.marinetraffic.com/ais/ It may not appear if the ship is out of AIS range (mid-Atlantic for example). When the car arrives, use this site to track delivery to the dealership by entering the VIN: http://www.lhf.com/ (worked for Parkview in Toronto). Will say from personal experience that tracking delivery is fun, but can be frustrating as it makes the process feel a lot longer as your new pride and joy slowly heads your way . Enjoy.
