CarPlay retrofit

Does anyone have experience doing this?

I'm looking into the bimmertech retro kit (https://www.bimmer-tech.net/shop/bmw...ts/carplay-mmi)

But unsure what I need, whether this is the only method.

Also, how can I tell what NBT modules and whether I have a WiFi antenna without pulling the HU? My VIN is WBSFV9C53DC772755.
