Red Ex?

Anyone put Red Ex in their fuel tanks once in a while or regularly when refilling or is it not a good idea with these engines.

I always use Premium fuels or if I needed to would use Millers ExoMax

A Bm tech that I know told me that the additives may clean fuel system and injectors but they can also burn the valves out if used all the time.My main aim is to reduce carbon build up on the tops of cylinders and he suggested it would be fine adding it once every 3 months or every 4 or 5 tanks of premium fuel.
