Since TTS is sort of a thing for people in this forum, here?s a detailed test from Auto Bild.

Thanks for sharing. This is probably my dream car and it?s impressive what they have done with it.

However looking at those ring times it?s amazing how quick the 918 is, and even more amazing how quick the Mercedes GTR is. The GTR is probably the top performance car bargain out there right now.

Yeah I think the AMG GTR and the Z06 are the two best bargains out there right now, especially the Z06 since it?s cheaper.

The true performance ‘bargain’ is no doubt going to be the 2019(?) Corvette ZR1 when it’s finally released by GM. The car will no doubt be a sub-7 minute ‘Ring time car, for a probable base MSRP around $120K. Hence about $30K-$50K less than its nearest competition from MB or Porsche. It’s going to be impressive me thinks and actual ownership costs excluding depreciation are minuscule versus the German brands.
