Just got scammed by this user, Chauncey.Bishop

mis leading and highly inaccurate listing, so just fair warning. tried to pass off an upgraded authentic product, at an elevated sales price, turned out to be run of the mill, and cartoonish hand painted with a paintbrush garbarge.

I’ve bought a few items from him and I found him to be an honest member/seller. He has also helped me many times via text when I had questions about my car.

the items were advertised in a miss-leadiing fashion. What i purchased had been badly handpainted with a paintbrush, looking almost cartoonish in person, insteads it was sold as if the item was an upgrade to stock direct from a vendor as is. this could not be determined in the pictures so it was a shock to recive what i did. I then got attitude when I exposed it. all in all, it was not an honest assesement of what was being sold.

I have bought a few things from him and I didn’t have an issue as well. I bought a android unit and seat dye off of the same listing if I remember correctly and it was pretty simple and came as advertised.

I also bought from this well known user before, no issues whatsoever. He’s pretty deep in the F10 M5 platform knowledge wise and supported me a few times!
I can vouch for him, honest and reliable seller, even shipping to Germany was not an obstacle

we all have different experiences. so take it all for what its worth. My comments are from from my individual experience. Not every ritz carlton or high end restaurant gets all good reviews. My interaction was negative enough from my perspective, to post the warning. I paid for and recived a product that was not as described, and un-useable. Simple as that.

Why not show or explain in detail what it was that you received? Your response is very general. If you got burned, what was the item, & exactly what was misleading about the item listed in the ad/post..
Otherwise take down the post if you can't follow thru with this info for all of us to see..

Thank you to all my previous customers and friends who have commented, texted me or sent me a DM. I was originally not going to go back/forth with who is to blame for this, but the thread seems to warrant a response.

I actually encouraged the OP to make this post since he regretted his purchase when it was out for delivery and threatened me with this thread to extort a refund. These were never sold with a return policy, nor was a good reason provided to warrant a return, so I refused and told him to proceed with the post.

The description he’s upset about was: “BMS Charge pipes with upgraded v-band clamps”. What he didn’t mention was that upon his request, I quickly provided the buyer with a $100 discount off of my asking price and upgraded him to express shipping for $5 more (I paid the difference out of pocket). He did not ask me anything about the paint or for any additional pictures. For reference, these were professionally sanded, primered with etching paint, sanded again, then painted and hi-temp clear coated so I’m not sure what he’s upset about? The fact that there is no proof of his claims speaks volumes to me. He received exactly what he paid for, the same charge pipes that were pictured and they are 100% functional.

Lastly, I have attached the picture that was in my ad for the world to see. Do these look like they were “handprinted with a paintbrush”?

Thanks for the detailed response. Like others I was wondering what’s the deal with this post? Why try to discredit someone without providing all of the details that led to your dissatisfaction? Anyhow…. BTW, I think that the paint looks pretty darn good.
