I'll take the f10 with a direct injection version of the s85. Time to wake up.

Do not like it as a progression from e60. The straight hood line on the new models drives me crazy. The black wheels are disgusting. The rear bumper looks "cheap," and the chrome-laden side gills are not cool. The car is still bad-ass, but the design seems to be a lateral move versus forward progression. Would I drive one? Yup.

Too big, no V10, not agressive enough. I still like the old M5. I hope the new M3 doesnt look like this!!

+1 I really like the new M5, it looks so cleaner than the last M5. I for one am looking forward to seeing what the M division can do with FI on sedans.

I don't get the negativity, I think it's perfect. It's taut, modern, and clean. I'd take one anyway, turbos and all lol.

The F10 is too damn big.
Definitely true, I think our F10 (528i) is great but it hardly even fits in out garage and finding suitable parking spaces on the street can be a pain if they aren't marked (meaning you can park anywhere along a curb). We have a pretty decent sized garage, too. I can practically drift my 135i in there no problem and our 2003 E class fits with ease but you really have to ease the F10 in at the right angle and use the parking sensors to make sure it's in just right.

The interior space is pretty amazing, though so it's not necessarily a bad trade-off. I just hope the new M5 matches the urgency of the old one, E60 was truly a treat to drive but I have no doubt it will.

i love the new M5, the old M5 still looks great too. Good job BMW by making both such great designs with different feels. The newer one definitely looks more modern and edgy, while the old one looks flowing and less modern. Just not feeling the rims on the new M5 though, it needs more spokes like the Last M5 imo, still love those rims to this day. Overall, they are both awesome.

Both beautyful, but the e60 has more stance!! it looks like it can really take a curve!!
the f10 looks like an m boat, a beautyful one!
overall i think the e60 is better!!
i have a feeling that this will not be a real m car, but more of a e63 amg , a confortable car that is also competent in the bends!!

The only thing I can say is better on the e60 is the rear bumper. The F10 sort of feels like an after thought. Other than that, the f10 looks amazing in comparison. It has an sporty elegance to it - minus the black wheels.

Both the E60 and F10 M5 look good. But the F10's aerodynamic definitely flows better. Trust there will be more refinements from the concept.

The wheels and side skirts let it down. Black wheels shouldn't be on the M5. The E60 wheels are amazing. One of my favourite BMW wheels.
