I just got downpipes for my f10 m5 and was wondering about the heat
protection - coating, wrapping and so on...
So may I ask you the following:
1. What did you use for the outside coating - ceramic coating + titanium
wrap? or only ceramic coating?
2. What did you use for the inside coating - you mentioned copper lining.
Have you got it done for your downpipes? If yes was it some kind of spray or
galvanisation?
Thank you!

titanium ceramic outside - good up to 2400 degrees. the spray the inside with copper (copper lining)
- we just did this for another company race car on the exhaust manifold - you can watch this to see what it looks like

Using DEI Titanium wrap as well

I’m wrapping my downpipes. Do you recall the size/length of hose clamps you guys used?

Edit: I just got my DPs back and it seems I’ll need hose clamps with an adjustable diameter of 2.75-4.00 inches. I’ll know for sure once I wrap them tomorrow.
