Almost finished installing MoCA adapters in some of the rooms in the house. All my coax cables were outside the house, so I installed this box and adapter. So far the MoCA adapters are delivering pretty decent speed. I still have an electrician coming out to give me an estimate on CAT6 drops, but for now this seems to be working. I still haven't set up Ethernet backhaul with them, so that'll be the real test. But the Apple TVs are pulling down the max speed my cable internet delivers, so no complaints.

BMW 2002 alloys with tires. These are the factory reproductions sold by BMW and produced by FPS for BMW around 2002 and now out of production. I'm hoping to use them on my '64 BMW 700 Convertible—after I wear the rubber off them on my 1600 Cabriolet!

Just the beginning after a hit and run that damaged the rear bumper and right rear tire. The good news is the price went up by $100 after I bought it. Next will be an MTech bumper to replace the damaged base model. Why couldn't they have hit the front? I would have preferred doing the front first.

Tudor Black Bay GMT. I have been looking for a nice GMT to add, but it’s been difficult since most jewelers/watch seller have very little stock.

Just buying the parts needed to get the car back to normal, I thought an MTech would be a nice upgrade. Next, I will be getting it painted and then installing it.

Needed something better than my Bauer one from Harbor Freight. Wife has a long list of outdoor projects that she wants me to complete so I thought I would treat myself for all of the hard work coming my way! lol

I previously had an Orbi whole home mesh system and it worked great....until a firmware update they released bricked one of the satellites. When I say brick, I mean it rendered it useless - couldn't factory reset, couldn't tftp into it to restore working firmware, etc.

Then I went online and discovered I wasn't alone, hundreds encountered a similar experience including my friend and their tech support is awful (free for only 90 days, then you have to pay).

I briefly tried the eero mesh from Amazon, and it started off badly; just to install the app on my iPhone (which is required in order to set up the system) it forced a password change of my Amazon account. Then once I got it connected to the modem and it broadcast a WiFi SSID, NONE of the Amazon Ring cameras could connect to it - their support couldn't figure it out either. Instant return.

I've heard good things about the Linksys so hopefully a good replacement. Thanks for the update on your experience.

Nice grab with the sale today.

I recently grabbed a 30 degree quilt with 850 FP, and a few smaller items for my Med kit (my scissors were confiscated by an airline in Colombia recently)

Some network stuff for the next phase of home automation. Time to dump the shitty USB cams and go with PoE cams. Ethernet backhaul for the wifi nodes is almost complete.

Not really (bought it went after last 50 hours outage) but the first time used thank to fuchen Rogers (largest provider).

Internet went down (19 hours) across the country; no phone, no cell, no e-mail and no TV. https://www.reuters.com/business/med...or-2022-07-08/

Garmin stats show that I'm hitting 13.8avg - greens in regulation.

Unfortunately, I'm 3 putting close to 9 of them. My putting is in the lower 1/3 percentile...and my handicap has slowly been increasing.

Time for drastic measures. Out with the old White Hot Odyssey. In with the new 2-Ball Ten S Triple Track. Changing from a full face balanced to a slight slant.

Hoping this gets me back to the single digit handicap.

Putting is the magical part of golf. Alas, I am not magical.

And like you I buy putters to try. Here is what I bought yesterday. This is a stock pic not mine.
