2015 M5 I-drive screen NBT or CIC?

So, we M5 owners have same quality screens as in the X5m and M6?

A 2015 M5 will definitely have NBT. It may even have NBT V2 by now, but I'm not sure.

How it can be checked? Have you seen the difference between the screens of 2105 M6 and 2014?

It's the same resolution screen, but the screens are different part numbers between 2015 and 2014 so it could be a different manufacturer of the display (like BMW moving from Sharp to LG or similar). Different manufacturers and their processes can account for differences in the look of a display (LCD coating, Anti-Glare coatings, etc).

But they still use the same resolution and specs.

What exactly are the differences you're talking about? Might help you get an clearer answer if we understood exactly what you are talking about?

Look, one is a flat screen in all existing surface and the other is not

It's just the enclosure that the screens are housed in. All the LCD panels used in BMW Navigation displays are flat screen.

Look at the idrive controller in both pictures. The first picture is pre-lci and the other has the touch enabled controller.

I saw the NBT v2 in a 2015 528. The only difference I found (l was bored so I really looked) was the colors were more vibrant. It was still 3G. Maybe it's an option that one can change during the order process, but I'm not sure.

Those aren't interior pictures of a M5; those are M6 which do have different Nav screens

Yeah, they do have a different screens between the M5 and M6 (adapted for the enclosure) but the LCD panels are the same spec in terms of resolution, etc.

Although they could be sourced from different manufacturers so that could account for any perceived differences in the "quality" of the screen (i.e. one manufacturer may use a slight different process for the lcd backlighting which makes the colors seem to pop more than screens from another manufacturer).
