Our Bang and Olufsen in the F1x M5/M6 is way awesomer than the competition.

Today I went to a car show at the Volkswagen Group Headquarters in Virginia. They had many Audi models on display there, including the new A3 Sedan. Of the notable cars that I saw from Audi there, I got to sit in each and play with the Bang and Olufsen Sounds Systems in the following cars:

- 2014 Audi R8 V10Plus
- 2013 Audi S8
- 2013 Audi S7

In each car I turned on the sound system and put in some high quality music to listen to each system with.

NONE of them hold a candle to the Bang & Olufsen system in the F10 M5 or F06/F12/F13 M6.

I was really disappointed with each system in the varying models from Audi. I guess it just goes to show how our B&O is so good. I have yet to hear another sound system that equals our B&O's performance. Maybe I need to hear the Burmeister system in the Porsche's. I bet that they are just as good or better than our B&O's. Anybody heard what Mercedes sound systems are like? I know everybody here is familiar with the BMW B&O, but today was the first chance I got to hear the competitions offerings without being harassed by salesman in a dealership. Lol!

All I know is that even streaming Pandora via Bluetooth on my B&O on the way home from the car show today, I was just like yeah man, this is the "top of the line right here!" Now if I could just get that cocaine interior that Audi has. Also Pkilla was at the show today too.

FWIW, I received 3 separate texts from friends who work at VWoA with pictures of your car. They said it looks amazing in person. Hopefully on a visit to see family back in DC I can get to see/hear it in person.

Audi Models have different Upgrade Levels for the B & O Stereo. The S6 is nowhere near as good as the A8/S8 Stereo. I believe the A8/S8 B & O is quite a bit better than the M5. It may just be the interior acoustics, but look what Audi charges for it. $ 6300 Upgrade !!

The new S Class AMG has Burr "3D" sound system. The 911 also has Bur system. I wonder how those two compare and how they compare to our M5's B&O. I spec'd the Burmester in my 911 I thought it was defiantly worth it, and it looks much better than the Bose speakers.
