I just read about how covid had a huge and negative impact on this series. Tons of reshoots and skyrocketing budget concerns. This season will have a lengthy 10 episodes but sadly it's last. I'll enjoy it.

Yeah it’s pretty bad and way off course from where the series started. Seasons 1-3 were good.

First few seasons of You are solid. If you've already started enjoy it. I will warn you that Season 4 is a loser and I had to stop watching.

That's two not-so-glowing reviews of season four already. That's not a good sign at all.

Into the original Magnum PI series with Tom Selleck. Watched the episode Legacy For A Friend, unfortunately the newer series just hasn't got that swing for me.

The original series was great. The remake is terrible.

The same can be said for Hawaii 5 0, it's the actors from past that had that zing that's missing now, Jack Lord saying to Jim MacArthur "Book him Dano,murder one'' had some clout then, the magic and suspense is gone.

Of course, I've seen a few of the new series and it's not the same with Thomas and Higgins missing together with Tom's humorous twitching eyebrows

anyone watched ' the shining girls' on apple+?

interesting story -- serial killer with a sci-fi twist (i wont spoil, but you'll likely figure it out within a couple episodes). we are 6 episodes (of 8 released) in and really enjoying it. pacing is a bit slow, but character development is good and acting is great. i'm hopeful the season will end well...although many of these "with a sci-fi twist" type shows often elicit an eyeroll at their conclusion.

if you liked stephen king's "11/22/63" -- great novel / good but not great series on HULU -- then this might be up your alley.

I saw a commercial for the new Magnum where new Magnum was in the shower with new Higgins. WTF!!!!
