Watched Barbarian.

Probably the worst movie title to what happens in the movie I have experienced in the last many years. Not sure how creepy-mother-inbred-creature-thing translates to Barbarian.

Watched that this weekend too.

I think the craziest thing that first took me out of the film was the scene of the intersection car crash. The teenage girl was laying flat in the backseat outside of a seatbelt.

The driver was messed up that he couldn't respond and was pulled out by the bad guys meanwhile she just gets up and walks out of the vehicle.

Listen, when watching just about any movie one needs to suspend common sense, any understanding of physics, and frankly most of reality. I usually make mental notes but just park them because just about any movie, tv show etc is full of things that aren't physically possible, or reality based. I just want to be entertained.

I agree, 16 gears of Fast and Furious was one thing, but that caught me off guard.

I mean, I was going to watch it because I kind of have to after all these years. It's like going to Thanksgiving dinner, you know... for F A M I L Y. I was kinda looking forward to the Hot Dog and relax in the theatre more than the movie. The previous trailer kind of made me feel meh about the whole movie.


But this FINAL TRAILER kind of looks like a blast, and hopefully the movie doesn't take itself too seriously.

The fight scenes look well done, I really want to see Han and Shaw team up/fight or whatever. I want to see Cena and the Kid blow up some bad guys.

Cena seems to be doing the same thing as he did in Peacemaker and making the former bad guy somehow likable. I don't know how he does it, but it worked in that show, and I don't see a reason why it can't in FAST X. Weirder things have happened.

Dom is the character I'm least interested in, ironically. I'd rather Vin get the next RIDDICK movie off the ground instead of stretch the final chapter of FAST into its own mini-franchise. How awesome would FAST X be if Dom died at the end?! THE ROCK comes back post credits to declare they have to bring him back somehow like SEARCH FOR SPOCK. He's not really dead, he's just frozen beneath the ice shown in the movie and JOHNNY TRAN'S son/younger brother/twin brother/cousin's sister's roomate or whatever has stolen Dom's frozen body and the F A M I L Y has to come together to bring him back. CIPHER turns out to be Brian's long lost sister and she was bad this whole time because reasons, so she can come back in FAST X Part II as a good guy. Oh and GISELE is somehow alive. And she is now bad.... until FAST X Part III. Because reasons.

I know i will get hated... but this series should have stopped at part 3... those were crime movies but with a major focus on cars... now we have some crap that who knows what it is.... a poor action movie with cars flying into the sky.... this is truly just milking everything for money, its pretty much a Marvel movie at this point.

If it wasn't for part 1 - aka the one every memes and references, this series would be nowhere today... and they are paying 0 homage to it.

Watched Escape Plan last night. I thought it was pretty good.
