Sanbao, China recorded 52.2C yesterday (125.6F) and the rest of the week doesn't look to great either.

Can be grateful for the rain and meh weather I've been seeing these last couple weeks.

If I play my cards right and use my charms, I might be able to send you a water bomber full of sweet water over your house at half price.

Looks like a nice day brewing with a high of 23C later and some sun, handy as I'm trimming a hedge soon.

Let's see now... half price would be a million -- USD, Canadian or Euros; it doesn't matter. Still slightly out of my price range.

My hot tub does not allow me to set desired temperature any warmer than 104. Rarely will I see 105. It has been at 106 for days... As I type, 11:23 AM local time, 110 degrees outside.

Roofers are gone, roof repairs are complete so it's warm and sunny with no chance of rain.

That is hot 🥵 Hubba. Go back in to your cool AC, or your pool. What’s the temp in your pool, btw?

I’ve been running the aerator 24/7. During the day it gets up to 95-96, and then I can get it back to about 90-91 overnight. If it weren’t for the aerator, warmest I have seen was 99. Yikes.

Well if the warning comes through (up to 2"), it will be a new rain record for a 20th July.

We're actually supposed to have a rain-free weekend here for like the first time in months, with temps around average and bearable humidity.....

Forecasted high today is 101°F. It's worse in a lot of other places so I won't complain... too much.

Over the weekend it was 98 at the cabin at 7000' Driving home thru Bakersfield area it was 105 until we hit Pyramid Lake, then it dropped below 100. By the time we got home to the 'Nard it was a balmy 81.

This morning, dense fog alerts. Of course, I just washed hte truck last night when we got home. . .

Mid-80's F here today, with tolerable humidity despite some noontime popup thunder sprinkles.

Forecast here is for a mid-to-late week heatwave, which in our region is defined as 3 days in a row with 90+ F highs.....

Our unusually mild summer is about to return to the normal temp and humidity range. It's going to feel crappy after the decent weather we've enjoyed so far. We've been far luckier than most of the nation, though, so we're thankful for that.

Many thanks to Lady Jane for sending the sprinkle all the way over here. Probably 0.0001" yesterday afternoon and just a light bit this morning but every little bit helps!
