This was maybe 15 to 20 years back when some food companies were producing zero-fat foods like potato chips. Olestra was an ingredient and caused some tummy issues. Another example of the US assuming low-fat or zero-fat was the way to reduce obesity.

I think they released a Pringles Low Fat option with Olestra

my favorite comment that I can NEVER Unhear - is one side effect they referred to as Anal Leakage...

lose weight with our low fat snack - just make sure you are wearing Depends first......
