You'll love the tune, even Stage I without DP's is plenty fast

Just wanted to share a dyno and post from a customer that recently switched from Stage II Dinan to Stage I BPM - car is stock.

https://www.m5board.com/threads/tune...3/post-7591933

Bottom Line, Stock
Middle Line, Dinan Stage II
Top Line, BPM Stage I

" I've had my 2015 F10 M5 since new and have tracked the car extensively. Here are some real dyno comparisons. Stock tune, Dinan Stage II piggyback tune, and BPM Stage I DME Flash tune, respectively. All runs include Dinan intake, Eisenmann cat back exhaust and Dinan mufflers. 3 pulls each were performed on a Mustang Dyno under the same conditions. The lower set of curves is stock at 427 WHP and 429 torque (568 crank HP 571 torque), the middle curve is Dinan Stage II at 461 WHP and 486 torque (613 crank HP 646 torque), the upper curve is the BPM flash tune at 472 WHP and 512 torque (627 crank HP 681 torque). There is much debate as to how accurate dyno numbers are, but the individual gains with each configuration are internally accurate. Software alone will get you around 60 HP... I will say the car drives much more smoothly with the BPM Flash tune, and throttle response is vastly improved over stock."

How does this tune compare to DME Stage 1? what is the stock power and Torque threshold before the clutches start to slip?

Okay - So I just surpassed my 4th year of owning a 2014 Non-CP M5. As the 2nd owner, I've kept everything stock with the exception of the charcoal filter delete (which I don't necessarily call that a Mod). I just installed a Stage 1 tune with Mike @BPM. I'll talk about the tune later. Other than the tune, I've also pulled the trigger on a full Eisenmann Sport Exhaust. Just waiting on my Fabworx catless downpipes and will to install in a few weeks.

Regarding the tune. The car is almost too much to drive in normal settings. In fact it is too much unless the roads are wide open. I find myself in triple digits more often and freely than ever before.

The car is extremely sensitive and responsive as soon as your right foot moves south. The power comes on so hard and quick that all you can do is hold on tight. Since the tune, I have yet to go full throttle. There's really no need to. I would imagine I've gained at least an extra 100hp and torque.

I want to give Mike at BPM a shout-out for his customer service and attention to detail. My tune was done during the middle of my busy workweek. Mike was respectful of my time and called at exactly the time he said he would. After the install he remained on the phone and answered any last minute questions. If you are on the fence, jump off and come to the dark side.

Needless to say, it's now time to upgrade the suspension because it simply can't stand up to the new G-Forces. Looking at Dinan or the Comp Pack Front and Rear Sways.
