Best method to remove oil from BMC Filters

Purchased the BMC filters since not ready to purchase Eventuri again, had them on my E60 #013. What is the best method to remove the oil so not to cause MAF issues?

Wrap them in paper towels and let it soak up the oil or pat dry..
