Thanks for the reply buddy.

I think i maybe forced to get a splitter like the one in this thread. I was looking for a splitter anyway and then last week ive noticed a 2 big deep chips down by the bottom of the bumper on one side, this type of splitter will cover it so happy days!

Got the lip on yesterday

As the title says, managed to fit the lip on yesterday, it was a long process, anticipated itnwould take me a couple of hours, all in all probably took me around 4.

I had to shave the edges and some self tappers wouldnt seat home.

I put double sided tape and about 7 20mm bolts/screws under. It does feel secure so quite content, however still a little paranoid.

Thank you all. Defo looks better in person, the lip doesnt do it justice in pictures. Really makes the front more aggressive.

Mate i was dying in the heat!

Yes very paranoid about speed bumps, however ive been on a few already and climbed a curb, so far so good, i had enough clearance.

I do want to lower, but then i know i will be running into problems, I really want to close that gap though.

Looks great mate. Are the lower corner splitters underneath part of it, or could they be removed separately? Where did you order the splitter from?

That's my space gray M5 😊.

I picked mine up from RW Carbon, it came with predrilled holes which lined up with screws holding in the bumper. I just had to add larger washers and I did add some 3M tape all around just for that added security. I've seen splitters in the past come off in high speeds.

I had mine lowered, you'd definitely have to watch those drive ways, parking stops and speed bumps. I had the DINAN adjustable springs. Similar to KW

You can see my drop and clearance hopefully.

Doesn't hurt! I've been 170mph+ without any issues.

Your car looks stunning.

Yes, sold it a while back. Seems like it's still out there running strong for the new owner as I get alerts about it from carfax.

I'm running a BMW 750i now. Stage 1 tuned. They got nothing for these cars for mods.

Needed a car that could fit two rear facing car seats. Just turned one forward and got one more to go before I can get back into an M5.
