Oregon has (had?) a right-to-die law for terminally ill people. Or do they call it assisted suicide?

I think it is assisted suicide in that you self administer it. Canada introduced MAID (medical assistance in dying) a little while back in 2016 as I recall which is either that option, or a doctor will kill you instead if you prefer. And look at us go, why, we've now thrown out all sorts of restrictions and become one of the least restrictive countries in the world with who we'll offer MAID to. We're just so enlightened. Just waiting for the rest of the world to catch up to our brilliance. At least Trudeau is.

And this is in comparison to many other countries who have had MAID for many years more than us. Soon, we're going to let people suffering from mental illness and also probably mature minors start offing themselves!

We're just so evolved.
