19" OEM Michelin Pilot Sport 4S Now Available

Hi All,

I know it's not quite spring yet, but I was nosing around on Tire-rack as I need new rears...

Thanks to Mercedes, there are now Pilot Sport 4S tires in the 265/40/19 102Y XL and 295/35/19 104Y XL sizes - OEM spec for our 19" M5 rims.

Happy Motoring!

I've wondered about getting a set of 19"s for driving in Colorado, where frost heave, potholes and generally less-smooth driving conditions exist. Anyone done a comparison with handling and feel vs the 20s?

I got Michelin PS4S installed on all 4 corners last month and these have been amazing in little over 500 miles I have done. Previously I had Continentals and the difference is night and day with phenomenal grip. Of course you still got to respect the immense power an M5 can produce.

These tyres haven't let me down in any road/weather condition so far and I don't really need to wait for them to warm up. It's not been very cold London lately so can't really comment on cold and wet conditions but otherwise wet grip is superb. Never had 20s so don't know about it but I am sure these are the best 19" tyres you can get for an M5.
