Intake Air temps

Hey just put on some new intercoolers and was wondering what everyone was running on stock setup? Forgot to check what the stock intercoolers were at before they started leaking. I'm currently at 110-120 when doing pulls (around 80 ambient). Seems high to me but need a baseline. This is with front mount intakes and chargepipes (maybe metal chargepipes transfer more heat from turbo oil lines?)

ista shows me at 29C(84.65F) ambient and 44.25C(111.65F) IAT at idle.

I am stock

evolve put up a youtube video on the csf ones at 16C(60F). Might not be the same temperature but they showed the new coolers 2-3C above ambient vs 14c for the stock ones.

30 to 40F above ambient sounds like stock performance.

Sounds like you wasted your money for your IAT’s to still be on par with stock IC’s. What brand did you purchase that is underperforming?
