I have the PVC arriving this week and will attempt to do the scoops, down the line might try the aluminium ones i have seen others here do.
Got around to add the brackets. attached for others to see it close up.

I have no horse in the race but 3000+ for an air intake is insane! I had a debate a few years back about ugr turbo kits. There base kit is between 50-60k. Start doing the math on what the parts cost, add some money for development costs( a stretch for a 10 year old set up), then labor for install. I would bet they are making 20k on these kits and maybe more

i had bms just for the sound and I loved it. So many myths of air intakes especially "ram air effect" If i remember correctly if you put a tube in the grill feeding straight into the intake manifold you need to be going north of 120 to create 1 psi of boost, in turbo car the car is sucking way harder than the wind will ever be blowing, so any compressed air from a head wind is a myth. Heat soak isn't 100% a myth but like others have posted, once the car is moving the air under the hood is being turned over very quickly

This cost me $120 all in. I did it mostly as I like the look and because it’s a dry air filter which means no oil going to the Maf. I also can say it sounds much better than stock. Of course I would like better the look of the other intakes out there but to pay $6-800 for them just for the look I prefer to place that money elsewhere.

buddy i don't care what msr says, an intake is worth 5-15ish hp, our cars are 600+ at the crank stock(based on dynos). Its a 2.5% increase.

Got to do the scoops in my own taste some I’m sure won’t like it, it each to their own right. Enjoyed working on this project.
