Windshield replacement

Anyone have issues with a peppered/pitted windshield from a lot of highway driving?

My paint is in great shape but my windshield is very pitted and is driving me nuts.

Are there any options to fix this? Or best to just have it replaced?

Yep I have same problem. I checked to have the windshield replaced and was quoted $1500.00 total. I asked why so much and the tech mentioned something about the HUD needs special window?? Didn't do it as I have a few pits but not enough to justify spending $1500 on it ??
