Great, this can be fixed after you buy the car.

I did it a few years ago - took a while and a few calls but DVLA caved in eventually and fixed it.

guys thanks for all your help and input on this subject matter. i have decided too hold out for later model. after seeing the video today the leather aint in the best of conditions and not sure why had a gut feeling that this not the one for me. I saw one at my local dealer which i fell in love with immediately just didn't get the same feeling with this one.. Citrine Black with Platinum Merino lthr - BMW Individual fantastic colour combo. the exterior had like a hint of yellow. Anyway just wanted to say thanks and i keep you posted on any development with regards to M5

Best to listen to your gut and hold out for the right one. It will just feel right when you see it.

Depending on mileage/spec it’s not bad

I had the BMW professional loudspeaker system and found it really good. I do prefer the styling of the LCI cars though, which mine was, mainly the steering wheel so if you can find one of those it would be a good upgrade.

I found it a great car and it never missed a beat! only issue I had was a front wheel bearing and some play in the offside lower wishbone bushing but BMW replaced those under warranty!

your username looks familiar! did you ever have Audi's?

never owned an audi BMW through and through... yeh i do like the LCI model just budgets little tight hence im having to go for earlier model. I might upgrade the steering wheel to performance M sports steering if possible in the future.

Its just steering wheel and grills really. there are some engine changes but I believe that is just different electronic wastegates

Is it from a BMW dealer?

from dealer its got nice black grills so im happy with that setup just want a m5 thats decent i know i got piece of mind with warranty so not too worried. spec wise would say i am only missing surround view and maybe the Harmon Kardon sound system or the BNO option but fairly decent spec

Hi I'm in the same boat as you looking for an F10 M5. I've had a fair few cars over the last few years - '14 M4, 63 C63, B7 RS4 and now looking to get into an M5 long term. I'm viewing one tomorrow which is a comp pack 64 plate with 37k and a bit concerned with all of the things to look out for. Are they really that bad? The car. Looking at has full BMW history so I'm guessing a Mondial warranty will still cover everything if I get one? Sorry to hijack the thread

I guess it depends on how it been treated and the age and mileage

At 40,000 miles roughly you need potentially new front discs and pads for about £1500

A warranty will be about £1600 a year from BMW which is a must

How much are you looking to spend?
