I'm not currently tuned but will be in the spring. I run Castrol Edge 0w40 European Formula. That's what I plan on running once tuned as well. I change my oil once a year.

Tuned and use Mobil 1 or Castrol Edge, whichever is more readily available at the time of service.

Just switched to Ravenol 5W-40 from Mobil 1 0W-40. Power from the engine feels much better. Probably because new oil.

Nothing on this oil out there but I'm enjoying it, check it out

Shows BMW LL01 in the description. I wouldn't get hung up on that part of the spec though unless you actually follow the maintenance schedule and wait 10-15,000 miles between oil changes. I didn't buy the oil because it has LL01. I bought it because it's a quality engine oil in the "weight" that I want to run.

Castrol Edge 0w40 European Formula. I’ve been running it stock and Stage 2 for 10k Miles. Usually change it every 4-6k Miles. No problems what so ever.
