What Tyresize MPS4s
Hello. I'm currently driving the Pzeros 295 on the 343M rims. I think the tires are average. Sometimes I have grip problems in 3rd gear. I want to buy the MPS4s. What tire size should I drive on the rear axle? 305 or are the 295 enough? The car is and should stay stock

Ah ok. when your car was stock did you also have traction problems with the 305?

The only other way to improve traction is to use Toyo R888R but then you're limited to dry weather only. |

Not with the Michelin, its flat and looks just right for the wheel. If you're looking at 305 pirelli tyres then the sidewall bulge is ugly from what I have seen. The 315 Toyo doesn't look great either.

Anyway, I buy the PS4s. The question is 295 or 305. I still have some time to buy.

Do like Dwaynos and myself did,305's with 5mm spacers just on the back for better traction off the line than 295's and as long as crazy bend speed not attempted you'll be happy. Don't forget the longer lug bolts.

Nothing really, the tyres will not rub unless you're very low and have wide spacers. Some people say that if you go with wider tyres then the car doesn't take the bends as well but I have never noticed any issues, the M5 isn't really a cornering car anyway.

Factory Pirelli were shit! The PS4s is the best tire hands down. I was amazed at the difference in traction after the switch. 305 for the win you won't regret it!

I understand how from a tire/wheel mechanics perspective that would be true, but outside of a racetrack, has anyone actually noticed it with this car when just doing spirited backroads corner carving? Obviously you haven't, and other have said "a wider tire on same rim will affect cornering", but I'm not sure I've seen someone say they went to 305s and could actually notice an impact.
