Recently Purchased M5 Oil Analysis

Hey guys, just recently picked up a 2013 F10 M5 in Moonstone Metallic, really pleased with the vehicle. Did all the maintenance that was not done( spark plugs, coils, oil catch cans, intakes, downpipes). Just did my first oil report with my own mixture of Motul 0w-40 and 10w60, was aiming for 5w-50 and looks like my measurements were correct. Engine seems to be in good overall health. Let me know what you guys think!

Why combine oils like that? Especially to make something thicker than recommended.

I've read conclusive evidence on running 5w-50 is beneficial for the s63

I've seen some people mention that too. But why not buy 5w50 from the start?

I only use motul fluids and they did no have a 5w-50 weight for their x-line so I decided to mix my own.

Ah I see. Does it mix well in the engine or do you mix it in a bottle before pouring?

5L of 0w40 and then 4L of 10w60 directly into the motor
