What will you be driving?

Some friends and I did the 2 day nordschleife fascination in the M4 last month. It was an unbelievable experience. Our instructor Walter Haupt, ring taxi driver with over 5,000 laps on the nordschleife, was just amazing. We had 4 skilled drivers in our group and Walter really pushed us. If the group keeps up, this is not a pedestrian marketing lead/follow kind of lap.

Over the course of 2 days you will break down sections of the ring (8 sections) and drive them over and over to get a feel for the sections. Then string them all together at the end of each day.

Best of all, the ring is entirely closed, so no other traffic to contend with. We were really up to speed, hitting 155mph on the course (not on the main start/finish straight, which is limited to 60mph)

Highly recommended BMW experience!! Have a blast

Flying to Munich today for the same event. I thought I was the only one from NYC attending. Should be great fun. As I understand we will be driving M4's.

Yep!

My wife and I stayed at the Dorint the 8th and 9th... We left in the AM on the 10th.

Both the 9th and 10th we could see the yellow M4's running a specific part of track from our room in the mornings.

Then, the evening of the 9th, my wife and I ate at that famous place with all the stuff on the walls and the meat served on the hot rock.

On the 9th we drove around the area around the track and then hung around where the stores and then at 5pm did 3 laps...in the rain!

Did you see the m6 wreck on the morning of the 9th? We happened to run the track in the rain a day before Phil on the 8th. That morning from the hotel I swear we saw a m6 with the school eat a wall.

Jim. Curious, I do not see a Steven on Donnie's list. A bunch of us are going to have dinner at the HaxenBauer at 7pm on Monday night, and you are welcome to join us.

Yea, some guy for SF happened in the first 10 min of being on the track. Tried to blame it on faulty DSC! The passenger was sent to the hospital with a broken sternum!

Wow. Not a good way to start class. I couldn't tell if the wreck was that bad but we did see them take away the car on a flatbed. That course is pretty damn hard, especially in the rain

BMW M Fascination Nordschleife

They drove M4/M6 in the rain like this today. 1 AW M4 (instructor car) and 4 AY M4's can be seen after Wehrseifen toward Breidscheid.
