Looking to add a bit of thump
Plan is to run 2 Sundown X8's or X10's w/sundown amp (so not to take up entire trunk area). Not much luck on finding on what else is required to hook up to B&O setup. In my old E60, I had to purchase some Tecknics (spellcheck) harness for plug-n-play....not certain 100% if this is still a suitable solution for the F10. Who else has upgraded and dropped in a sub/amp setup? In for pics as well of others who went down this route. Also, did you dynomat (or other) the trunk area?
Much thanks

I’m not an audiophile, nor do I claim to be a sound expert - but I had a single powered JL 12” sub in the trunk of my last m5. It added that extra boom I wanted without doing a full setup. Sounded great!
Install was power, ground, and a single speaker wire. Fully reversible without evidence that it was ever there. |

Check the 4th post here for info about the Technic PnP and how to connect to your B&O the best way possible.
https://f10.m5post.com/forums/showthread.php?t=1741561 Check the 2nd post in this thread as well: Bass Help - Wiring/KeyLOC? - Subwoofer set-ups https://f10.m5post.com/forums/showthread.php?t=1771429 I realize my post on that thread is TLDR lol. But skim through the Technic part and hopefully you'll get an idea what's involved. You can't got wrong at all with Sundowns btw. Awesome subs. (I'm partial to 10s over 8s.) It may be overkill for some people but if you like deep bass, mission will be accomplished.

Yeah, Sundown has been proven. I have always been a believer of going back to what I know: Punch Power Pro 12's and a Punch Amp. Opted to give Sundown a try in my last 2 setups:
2 X8's D2 on SCV3000D then swapped the 8's for 1 custom built X15 D1 on the same SCV3000D...rocked my truck. Not looking to go "that" extreme (for me) this go around. As concerned about electrical and trunk space now. Hindsight, never should of sold the SCV3000 as I want it back now but not willing to drop the coin people are trying to get...so I shall lurk in the shadows and pounce when ready.

Technic has a harness for the HK. You can choose what stock system you have and they'll send you the appropriate one.
