I picked up this blue beast a month ago. It is spectacular. 2nd METAS certified watch for me (Black Bay Ceramic) and the accuracy is astounding.

Are the dial technically a pair of 'bridges' ?

I think they are bridges I was looking at pictures thru the display back of your model watch. Have never seen bridges like that.

I purchased this watch because I like ceramic cased watches and Omega are one of my favourite brands. All I know about the movement is that it is the Calibre 1869 handwind movement.

I'm liking (not loving, though) all of Omega's new releases. Maybe that's a good thing since I'm not reaching for my wallet to buy! A step in the right direction, I think … minus the new ATs. I get they're going for the Rolex market, but I just think Omega had it down with the last generation (which I'm sure are still on sale) with the matte finishes and teak dials

Picked up some new leather shoes for my Speedy Racing! I have to say, like the Worldtimer, I prefer this watch on its band rather than the steel bracelet!

Indoor vs. outdoor pic of the Worldtimer. Inside, the dial appears matte, while outdoors, you can really pick up the "sunburst" nature of the blue dial.

(Hard to capture on an iPhone camera, though)
