I'm jumping back into the waters. I owned an e60545i years ago and now decided to get an f10 m5 instead of an m3.

Found a loaded 2013 Sakhir M5 with only 27k mile in Florida. Dealer is asking $39,999.

Is this a decent deal? Anything I should look for?

I got a warranty quote from delta for 4yr/48k miles for their diamond premier...which covers just about everything for $3500 with $100 ded.

What do y'all think? Thanks in advanced!

Will

That’s a really inexpensive warranty. Details are important

Here's a link to the warranty. I called them directly and they gave me the wholesale rate

Doesn’t appear to be an exclusionary policy. That would be my worry. You want an exclusionary policy.

If it is the one from Prestige, I would ask the seller if this car was from the BMW driving school. Carfax of this car shows first owner bought this car at auction where the car was listed as a manufacturer vehicle. Could have just been a dealership demo vehicle but you should look into it.

This car was on my list a few months ago before I bought my 13 MCB M5.

It is the one from Prestige! I'm getting a PPI on it this week. They said they got it from auction and the carfax confirms that. Anyway to find out if it was used at BMW driving school?

That warranty is trash. M3 forum and even o here you will see they deny many claims.

You will not find a good warranty for this car under 5k. Find a m5 at Lexus or Toyota dealer their aftermarket warranty is one of the best and is backed by Lexus/Toyota.

Maybe try calling BMW USA with the VIN number. Also some additional info on BMW driving school cars can be found here:

Mine is through AMT/GM Warranty. I’ve had 2 claims since April, front control arm and 3 ignition coils, all covered. The price was $4800 for 3yr/36k. I paid $100 over cost at a GM dealership. I bought the car with 42k ish miles.

Also as a side note, I’ve used first guard in the past and they paid out over $8k in claims on my wife’s old 2008 535i. She now has a 2013 535i with a Warranty through first guard again and they’ve paid out over $4k so far.

I am using EasyCare on the M5 I bought couple days ago. its exclusionary and BMW dealer "Braman BMW/Porsche/Rolls/Bently' dealer I bought from said they are easy to work with. Covers everything but wear and tear. Even covers window motors, speakers, head unit, tech packs, heated seats. the exlusion list is very small. I paid $5500ish with $500 deductable. 3 yr 36K miles from now, so 76K miles end term
