Whats the 1/4 Record for an e60 or f10 m5?

Going to the track this weekend with big aspirations. Hopefully it stays cool and doesn't rain or snow!

mods are just engine internals and software. Boost is set at 10#'s as of now with 80# Injector dynamics. Rear mounted and air to water cooled with 2.5" charge pipes.

That sounds like a potent package. Manual transmission or SMG? Slicks? Where are you running? Best of luck!

Yes, had the bearing issue and ending up just building it. Thankfully the block and heads were fine.

I will be running at Bristol Motor Speedway with a few other friends. Only tuned for 10#'s and yes, im on 10" wide hoosiers. Last time out on 7# I hit 11.6 without launch control. So yes has SMG.

Since I got a new controller so I have the euro 4k launch. 60' was 1.98 last time out and still ran 7.7 1/8. Maybe not the fastest, but should def turn some heads for a luxury sedan. Interior is all stock with just subs and amps in the rear.

Thanks man. Currently has a built SMG. Slicks but nothing done to suspension, so we shall see how she comes out of the hole.

Track is a little tough, as its a little bit of a grade at the end. BMS in bristol is not idea for best times, but if temps stay out of the 70's as they should, I should get really good response from the intake pressure. As long as no throttle actuators act up, I am in good shape.

I will be running my truck that night too, so hopefully I will have a 10 second truck and low 11 or better car.

Sure will. I will post up some pictures and the build in a few. Just a simple black e60 with twin turbonetics 6665's mounted in the rear, right before the eisman mufflers. I daily drive, or else I would delete the mufflers as the turbos kind of baffle it.

Truck is a compound boosted 5.4L. Makes 970 to the tires but is 6200 lbs. Should be a fun day. Wish me luck!

Lol its kinda neat when people think its a 4 or 6 banger turbo, and then you hit 8500 rpm and it sounds like a Ferrari 488

I run straight 93 in the car all the time. I dont have the software to up the boost or change timing if I ran 14-16lb with C16.

I have deliberated about e85 /meth and didnt really feel like changing all the fuel components. Only thing that is different in my fuel lines are a weldon pump and injectors.

In p400 mode its no more than a gt mustang. Switch over to M mode and the throttle response is incredible. The upgraded trans makes shifts really hard when on the highest setting, so for street ability I keep it on around the 3rd setting.

Has no problem toping 205+ on an airstrip. I loved the care from day one, but hated getting beat by 335i's on a tune off the line, so I decided to do some modding.

Dyno on 7# was 672 and right at 600 tq. So nothing huge, but time will tell. It is build for much more, just dont have the software to do my own tuning here in the states.

No problem. It was a simple change or oliver custom rods, and diamond pistons to bring the compression down a hair. Adding boost was the easy part. Rear mount was simple. Just need an external oil pump and cooler for the turbos. Add in a 50mm tial wastegate and inter cooler piping and its done. I did it all in house with a small miller tig.

Thanks for all the interest! I had some bearing issues early on. Car now has 144k on it with no issues with boost.

Has 32k miles on it with the turbos. Main issue is keeping the extra oil in it for the turbo lines and a good return pump. I used the same lines from the stock pumps to power the weldon pump outside the tank.

Besides the cheap ass lights the previous owner had in the rears, its pretty much all stock on the outside. (besides when I put on slicks)

Would like to see pics. I had an E60 before and contemplated going twin turbo (I was supercharged) but ended up building the F10 platform.

Have you dyno'd your setup?

Only on low boost. Need a better heat exchanger and fans to up the boost IATs get high when I run 10 currently.

BTW, with my supercharged E60, this was probably the quickest I could get it to (vs. full DINAN FBO M5 with Evolve Tune + Long-Tube Headers).

yes.. all you hear is my car on the right
