Which Carbon Fiber Diffuser???
I am looking to purchase a carbon fiber diffuser for my F10 M5. With the BF and CM sales on, the OEM is now 20% off however still nearly double the RW Carbon version.
I've read the reviews on the fitment for the RW version and some say slight adjustments are required on the tabs but overall fitment seems pretty good. I haven't seen any feedback on wear. So for those of you that have the RW Carbon version, have you had any issues with the Carbon Fiber breaking down or discoloring? Thanks in advance, Barry |

RW is 2 fin I think. OEM is 3 fin, so it's different. 3 fin diffusers are harder to find and it's the way I prefer. The OEM price is outrageous for what it is, discount or not.
I've hardly seen it discussed here but I took a chance on AutoTecknic. Identical to OEM, perfect fit and finish. I think I paid around $440 shipped new from Auto Talent. Should be discount codes out there, fast shipping. Don't pay the OEM BMW tax. Nobody will ever know it's not OEM, trust me.

I've had the rw Carbon one for two years on my car. The fitment was spot on. You do have to take the bumper off to use screws to secure the tabs into place (took like 2-3 hours at home).
Also: no issues with the carbon fiber discoloring or breaking down. |

Thanks to everyone for your feedback.
I should have mentioned that I am looking to go with the center diffuser only. https://www.********.com/bmw-f10-m5-...-diffuser.html My M5 is BSM. You guys have convinced me the quality is there and has lasted over time which is what I was most worried about. No reason to pay the "M Tax". |

FWIW, RWs are super on 3 and 4er's. Even on the F10, except the rear diffuser, the fitment is top notch. For some reason the rear diffusers seem to be off in fitment but not by much.
They still seem to be best bang for the buck but there will be some wiggling on fitment.

Could always run my 2 or 3 fin setup...not CF by default...but you could wrap if you desire.

I have the autotechnik center diffuser and I absolutely love it. No issue with coloring as of yet. I also have the RW Carbon front lip. Both great quality.

Well, they say you can't beat BMW OE accessories, though RW is identical according to some and less expensive. Getting a rock bottom price one as long as it fits fine should bode well too, being at the bottom there the carbon will last long where the sun can't get to it easily.

From my research, RW carbon is repackaged chinese carbonfiber. They take the risk out of you getting a bad or broken product like on ebay, for slightly more money. Good Business model. Wish I thought of it.

For some reason there aren't too many believers on the AutoTecknic version. I know why, NO PICS, right?
I would show mine off but my car is in storage at the moment. Here take a look at this video. It's what convinced me. Big props to the uploader Sage Rides for the efforts. If you're looking for a 3 fin, insert style CF diffuser that's identical to OEM, it's a no-brainer guys. It's 99% OEM at 35% the cost.
