Does any Chevy have DCT?

Still looks like a transformer to me. Trying too hard stylistically. But that's all subjective. Performance to $ is always high on these cars

Don't think so. Supposedly no supplier could provide a DCT that could handle the vette's torque and fit the rear end. The transmission however was benchmarked against Porsches PDK and Chevy is claiming similar shift speed for the Z's first auto trans.

I never said the ZO6 was a POS. Never. The C7 ZO6 wasn't even announced when we spoke.

I would say it is the most appealing corvette and that on paper @ the track it is very impressive. But, for my dollars it is very difficult for me to get 'excited' about owning a corvette. Just a mental block I am sure, but there it is...

Its a pretty much get what you pay for car: performance, handling, driveability, and an interior that leaves something to be desired. Ive always been impressed with the C6 Z06 and ZR1 but Im tired of rowing; with this car I get the 8 speed auto (I think) so its a viable candidate for me. I don't keep cars all too long so I can change.

That's true Vic especially in traffic it's a pain where's there's too many people on the road. I like the auto. Besides, dang near everyone is going auto/paddles. Interior is way better than previous years but fir the money it should look/ feel a whole lot better.

GM actually said it shifts faster than a porsche PDK.

The gap between the C7 interior and an e92 M3 or current C63 is VERY small. The germans have the edge but it's miniscule. The C7 interior is light years ahead of the C6. There is no comparison.

The only part I am interested in this car is to see the mechanics of the transmission, but I have a feeling GM might have over done it leaving some room for flaws within the design or performance.

Old is a relative term--- I am just mature.

Garage List
The base Z06 will be 75k. At 100k it will be fully loaded including Z07 package with ceramic brakes.

Can't imagine any other great handling 640hp car at 75k. This thing will shame a C2S, Jag R Coupe or an M4 on a track.

The plasticky stuff is true, but to get this kind of performance and a German interior you need a 911 Turbo S and that's twice the price.
