I already purchased mine through USAA however Easycare is half the price almost and another 15k miles of coverage. Everyone I have talked to says Easycare is pretty good. Thinking about getting a refund on my USAA and going with them instead.

I got a carchex platiunum warranty, 2 months in my motor blew. It took them 7 weeks to approve the repairs while calling for un needed work to be done that they would not cover.

Stay away from them, they will waste your money while trying to not pay out.

Everything runs great no issues whatsoever but I've owned enough m-cars to not want to have this monster without coverage.

I'll keep researching and will post back where I end up. BTW, in Atlanta GA and after 5 calls to different dealer's finance offices trying to get a quote have exactly ZERO calls back.
Please do! I'm near Atlanta and would be very interested in hearing about your experience.

Since you all are talking about third party warranty services, well let me chip in as well as I am dealing with Fidelity currently. I am in the same boat as you , 2 months in Engine started making a noise and it sounded like rod bearing.
I only drove it to work back and forth and took it to San Francisco once. Which is like an hour drive both ways. Any how long story short, two weeks ago, i got into the car and drove it to work, heard a small clunk right when i almost got to work. i thought that it was my exhaust made the noise or something. when i was leaving work the sound was more obvious and luckily my commute is very small and by the time i got home the engine was making the noise and it was not good. It seemed to be a sound of rod bearing. I immediately made an appointment at the dealership and got it towed there and heard the bad news from my SA that engine needs to be replaced as the foreman/tech found a metal piece in oil. I gave them Fidelity information and Fidelity asked them to get my authorization to get the oil pan dropped to see what the issue is exactly. I gave them the auth and they will probably call me in a day or two to let me know. I will keep you guys posted here, i am sure you all would be interested.

Just got infinite auto protect today, 4yr 80k mikes for 3100 for their prime package which seems to cover a lot. Trying to digest the full terms of their contract before I fully sign away. 30 day money back guarantee with it.

Hi guys i'm new to the M5 forums. I'm picking up my '14 M5 with 46k this thursday. I was quoted 1400USD 3yr/36k mile for the extended warranty through the company route 66. They're only giving me the "first street" warranty plan. Anything I should be looking out for as far as the warranty?

Hey guys here is an update. After contacting countless companies for extended warranty I was able to find one that has decent coverage and covers California cars. Apparently most of these companies do not cover our cars if you live in California. Also when i bought my car it was already out of warranty which was another reason a lot of companies didn't offer me warranty.

I went with Delta Auto Protect. After reading their contract they seem to cover almost everything with their Diamond Premier. Even suspension, differential, transmission, electronics etc... I ended up paying $2950 for 5 years and additional 75k miles.

I haven't had any issues yet with the car to use the warranty so I can vouch for their legitimacy but their contract seemed pretty legitimate. Also for $2950 for 5 years you can't go wrong.

Finally I heard back and FWS will cover the maximum contract value up 30,575 and I do have to pay BMW 8K out of pocket to cover some remaining cost. Still was surprised to hear that FWS will cover this much but it is what it is. BMW will put in the reman motor and the new warranty will cover 2 years unlimited mileage. BMW will only provide the warranty on the motor and rest I may have to buy a new coverage. I will have the car back end of this month.

I contacted USAA today and they stopped selling extended vehicle warranty plans for vehicles in 2018. They hope to offer them again in the future but said would not do so until they could offer better plans and more competitive pricing.

Delta Auto Protect does not have good reviews on Better Business Review site. They are also not accredited with BBB. Apparently they have a history of not sending the payment check and they keep on telling customers that the check is in the mail. See below link:

I spoke with two shops who I've used to work on my BMWs and asked what have been their favorite warranty companies to deal with and they said USAA, Fidelity, and Zurich.
AKTIV Automotive, Owner 10+yrs. Kevin, 301-869-3200, Gaithersburg, MD
German Auto Works, Owner 30+yrs. Dennis, 301-424-7463, Rockville MD

Unfortunately, USAA is currently not an option, Fidelity prices are high; so I am going with Zurich(1). PRICES WILL VARY DEPENDING ON YEAR, MILEAGE AND OPTIONS. The prices below are specifically for my 2013 M5, with <60k miles, without rear seat monitors and without ceramic brakes. From what I was told by my Mile-One BMW dealer, all other options are present.

I have delta auto as a 3rd party. I've had no issues. My AC went and turbo lines were leaking. They changed, no questions asked.

I just purchased a 15 M5, I’m looking at Delta, 5yrs/100k miles

I saw some bad review on BBB site, the price quoted seems acceptable, I’m just a bit concerned I would hang out to dry.

So you had no issues with Delta in claiming your repairs?

Thanks in advance

Edit: I end up with the Delta Auto Protect, its available for CA cars and the price is reasonable. Hope this works out...

Hey everyone - I'm reading through my Delta contract and it seems they cap liability at $15k total..is this everyone else's experience as well?

III. COVERAGE PROVIDED UNDER YOUR VEHICLE SERVICE CONTRACT
".......OUR aggregate limit of liability, the total of all claims and benefits paid or payable while this VEHICLE SERVICE CONTRACT is in force shall not exceed $15,000."
