Yup, the huge number of falses made me leave my V1. I've been pleased with the Escort camp as of late... Have a 9500xi currently, but installing a 9500ci enhanced on Tuesday.

If you have an android phone and the bluetooth addon try the YaV1 app. It makes it super easy to change your programming.

Yes Sir. That's the answer! I played with the app and things are much better. I can run that app along with the escort app at the same time. Thanks.

Does the app work on the iPhone? I only have x band turned off on my V1, any tips on how to make it work better?

No cord I have mine hard wired and mounted above the mirror. I gave up blue tooth and more to do this but can't stand the cord. Been thinking about trying to hardwire the Bluetooth smart cord. I went from a Solo S2 I have had for many years. Saved me many times but the range on the max is about 3x and fewer falsies

Hmm, I don't know what specification software your Valentine 1 is, but with my 3.872 I reprogrammed it.
I entered programming mode and changed: - 7 (Enabling features b-G) - 8 (Mute set to zero) - E (Stay muted at 4 lights) http://www.valentine1.com/v1info/pdf...-REVforPDF.pdf When I get a false, I hit the mute button and it silences them for the rest of the drive. It's far more civilized than with the factory settings. Good luck. Last edited by Gumbo; 06-16-2014 at 01:19 AM.. |
