M5 Trunk Opening Problem

Hi - am now looking after a BMW M5 F10 S63N model - owner stuck out of country last 18 months - battery flat as a pancake. Trying to open trunk to remove battery.
Read up all the forums that I could - no pull wire under rear seat - can only open with remote control. Cannot jump using the under bonnet connections - no instrument lights or anything. Appears only way to open is to energise trunk solenoid. Cannot find any wiring diagrams or location where I can tap in 12 v to trip solenoid.........Any suggestions?

So the pull handle is in the trunk.

You need to access the rear folding seat release handle by removing the small pass through in the rear-seat middle arm rest. You will need a long 3'-4' pole.

Once you release the rear seat fold down, you'll need to crawl into the trunk, and release the trunk lid Bowden cable. If you use a flash light, it will glow in the dark..

Thanks for the suggestions - this car must be a rare one - there is no folding section in the middle of the rear seat, and indeed the bottom portion of the vertical rear seats are bolted to the steel work of the car. All visible with the seat base removed whilst looking for the supposed pull wire and handle.
Also removed the rear number plate in case there was a key hole (noted in an earlier thread).
No idea where the relay to power the trunk release solenoid is located - if at the front fuse box location in the glove compartment? could possible induce 12V there. If cannot fix will wait for the owner to get back to country and can take up with BMW directly - can only do so much........PS car is RHD, Cheers

You do get some over here too with non-fold rear seats, on a car like this it shouldn't be an option.

Why can't you charge/jump using the under bonnet points?

Hook up jumper cables to the jump points in the engine bay and connect to another car that's running. You need more amperage to over come the collapsed battery in the trunk. Then push the trunk button and or start the car.
