Not good that it's just 3 tips fitted now as the place where they are made to order can only do one at a time and as soon as I got it I ordered the 4th one. After you order a custom one the site blocks you from having another custom one.
So if you want the pictures I'll do them but it will look a little odd or wait until the last one arrives
Given the build up and ongoing saga and commentary you have given I hope they are nothing short of amazing

3 tips on my wagon...but I'm still rollin' along

I do agree it has been trifly dramatic with these but getting something that's a bit different can be and because it's dragged out the excitement (for me) is ongoing for a while. The end product will definitely be eye catching
Already thinking of the next mod

I think the m carbon ones you have look great, I'm not sure theres a better tip that would suit your colour and the carbon you have now.

Had 2 of mine from another firm in China, not alibaba but XX3472 and the other two were from UK.
My son has said it's the best thing I've done to it.I like them as you can't see them from a distance that clearly until you get up close and not 'flashy',you know me.Hope you like them overall and don't go changing yours for the sake of it as the alibaba ones go really well with the black paint.Akrapovic themselves don't make this type any more, looked on their site.
Now must have a go at the h/lamp covers

A tip and pun intended, if you want the endings to protrude out a little more order longer length ones around 135mm.
Crumbs,hi-jacked this thread enough but it is on the same subject.

I saw the pics on the other thread. Rewind, do you mean to say that the inlet size of 69mm which you ordered fits on nice? I'm sure you said yours were larger.

Only messing with you, but seriously

Purchased electronic Vernier callipers to make sure as didn't trust the rickety wooden ruler in the end, made a big difference! One of the tips being 71mm inlet was rectified by inserting two larger hose clamps after breaking off the screw mounts and after inserting them tightened up with no problem.

Nicely done. Glad you got them all in the end, they look great. I'm currently looking at some 4" slash cut tips but judging by the measurements, they won't fit without modifications. I'm trying to convince myself it's worth it.

That's nearly 102mm wide, too big I think. Would need slightly angled outwards then straightened tip inlets, tricky.

If I were to do it I would have to cut the pipes from the boxes and move them across a few mm. Just not sure if the slight difference is worth the work.

Hi Mate

Looking mint!
I am after the exact same tips for mine. however i do have a couple of questions if you dont mind.

Firstly where did you get them from and secondly what was the overall length of the tips you installed?

I have removed one of my standard tips and have realised my original pipes come flanged towards the end making them around 67mm dia

Mounting the tips on in this position would mean the tips would protude out from the bumper too much so want to be sure to order the right ones?

Thanks
