Pzero vs ps4s

NO COMPETITION! If you haven't made the switch to a 305 Michelin PS4S your are literally missing out on life in 1st gear!

Car is a bone stock 16 Competition. Before from a dig it would spin 1st and some of second, now she hooks all the way through with just a little screeching at the top of first and into second.

DO IT!

Pzero vs ps4s

Are you running spacers on the front/rear and if so what are the sizes? I am taking mine into the shop this week for HAS lowering springs and thinking about the 305's on the rear.

Cool, thanks for the feedback. I am having them install the 305's as well as 10mm spacers on the rear, looking forward to taking for a spin, I didn't realize how little tread was left on the Pzero's...

I have a 14 bone stock competition and just put these tires on a few weeks ago.

I didnt think they were going to be this good. My only fear is that new found grip might stress out the DCT ripping it from a dig from lights now.

Do you actually use launch mode or just hammer down on the throttle? I'd imagine using launch mode is not good for the car and the extra grip would just amplify wear and tear.

I don't think hammering down on the throttle from a dig would be nearly as bad.

I have not tried launch control on this DCT i have only had it in my car a few days now.

i just hammer the throttle from a dig with traction off and it sticks feels weird not used to the car gripping so much.

I switched to the PS4S in a 21” wheel and yes, they are incredible, blows away the PSS in every way. Incredible!

At factory power levels I wouldn't be concerned to much if your not launching it. The clutch pack and tire wear are different stories however.

Finally got the 305 PS4S put on...some difference in traction but not life changing. I'm happy though. It's an improvement for sure.

That pic is with the 10mm spacers in the rear? Did you put anything up front?

Do you have satin or matte wheels on your M5?

I don't have any spacers at all. Oem offset on those wheels. Not even sure I can fit spacers without rubbing.

Curious if the 305 ps4s is still sticking when putting down a little over 600 wheel power and torque. Anyone running stage 1/2 with the 305s?

I'm at 680whp but limited torque at 630whp. 305 ps4s rears grip all day for me.

I'm stage two currently (going to get dyno'ed soon) with 295 ps4s and I grip all the time.

I had Pzero's on the car when I first got it and they were bad. I would slip in 1st, 2nd and even 3rd sometimes. PS stage two with catless dp so more power than stock. And if it rained at all with Pzero, the lost traction anything after 50% throttle.

I have never had p zeros as they are supposed to be absolute garbage. I have 305 Michelin PS4s and yes they are great but I'm yet to hook up properly in 1st.

I had P Zeros and they were average, the car was transformed when I put on four new MPS4s

With the Pirelli tyres I had no confidence in the car and it was a gamble if the TC light would come on. With the Michelin tyres its a lot better even in the wet
