Thinking about a DMS remap... Thoughts?

Hi All,

Hope all are keeping well during these crazy times...

I am thinking of do a remap with DMS.
Tony is saying excess of 730 bhp & 665 lb.ft. Numbers look so tempting.

He has quoted £900+vat

Seems steep when you have other companies offering a remap for £350-450, but I know that DMS are well know and bespoke remap etc...
In addition to peace of mind & rep, Tony said that its a 3 year continued service & aftercare.

Thoughts on remap & price?

Any help/advice would be greatly appreciate.

Velocity Tuning or Evolve for me. I'm starting to sway towards Velocity at the moment. Tommy seems to really know his stuff on this platform.

On these cars huge torque can be achieved (as DMS have quoted!) which can kill clutches very quickly. Any reputable tuner who knows their stuff on these will cap torque to a safe level (still a big improvement over stock though!)

I would say that getting 730bhp from a Stage 1 on an M5 is lies or a very optimistic dyno.

In reality and on a good day 705bhp max

DMS are expensive and I wouldnt use them. Evolve in Luton are sound

Just be advised BMW will see the map even if its removed, if you have a warranty it will be void. This is 100% the case now
