Android Head Units....
Hi there
I’m new to the M5 scene just recently got a 2012 M5. I’m keen to firstly sort out and update my CIC. The NBT is quite expensive so I can across these android monitors with everything built in. Was wondering peoples experiences and thoughts. https://m.aliexpress.com/item/330261...List_4267203.0 See link for example Thanks in advance

I would say no. Some of my Chinese friends with their 5s have Android headunit. Most of them didn’t turn out well. Things like frozing, shut off randomly and not compatible with parking assistance would drive u nuts. With your budget I believe you can find a pretty good nbt/evo hardware. They are not crazy expensive like before

I would like a more modern set up, android etc... But I don't want to sacrifice quality of the unit. Just want better connectivity, a higher res screen and phone mirroring.
