Kinda sad for such an expensive system.
I plan to fix this by pushing 750 JL watts to a W7.
I get it with rap and loud rock... :/

Rap occasionally
Hard rock almost never
oops those were music prefs lol

I am glad to report that I get the center channel high pitched rattle (vibration) only rarely with certain songs that must resonate the CC.

I have the f13 m6 and my B&O rattles so much I just drive with the radio off most of the time now. Most of all, I just use an in ear Bluetooth because of how bad the center tweeter rattle is on the phone!

As you can see in prior updates on this thread I had my center and two main door speakers replaced. The rattles are the same if not worse. When I have some time I plan contacting BMW to see about compensation because I am livid. I do not want them to replace anything again because it's a failed system. The design is flawed...Period. I am so pissed about this that I would consider NOT buying another BMW due to it. I spent $3700 on a sound system that occasionally sounds so bad that I have lower the music so I do not have to endure the vibration. I have had sound systems in cars that cost way less that performed almost as well, and more importantly did not rattle.

I would definitely take it up with the dealer. Although with my last bmw they first refused to hear anything that I heard. Hopefully your dealer has better ears. Then it took them several times replacing it till the rattling sunroof finally stopped rattling. Good luck.

Replacing the speakers will not fix the issue. The issue is the bang and oulfsen aluminum speaker cover. There is a simple fix which involves adhesive strips.

Thanks for posting. I am going to get the VPC to do this on my car while they still have it. I don't have much of an issue, but I do occasionally get vibration when using Bluetooth phone when speaking with people with particular voice frequencies.

I took delivery of my car stateside on Wednesday just in time for Thanksgiving. The VPC did the fix at my request just before shipping it out. I do notice the vibration is gone when using the Bluetooth phone. Great fix.

In fact this fix means B&O is now better than the standard speakers since they don't have a solution for Bluetooth phone related center speaker resonance on the standard system.

Yep, and thankfully it's a quick and simple one.

In the end it's a B&O design flaw.

I have noticed a rattle behind my left ear (US car), in the vicinity of the b-pillar. I've made a list of which songs consistently reproduce the noise. It definitely sounds like something that could be fixed - like a tiny part is loose.

Apparently that's a washer behind the b-pillar that needs to be re-torqued to spec.

Update on my b-pillar rattle: rattle/buzz is coming from the speaker behind my left ear. Dealership ordered a new speaker today. If that doesn't fix the problem then I will request closer attention to the washer inside b-pillar. I should have taken Av's suggestion with me to the service desk but my drop off was a little hectic.

Just an update on my B&O rattle. Mine is in or near the left rear door speaker, and it's a high pitched buzz. As mentioned a few posts ago, my dealership ordered a new speaker to replace what they thought was a defective one, and today they installed the new speaker. No change. I brought the techs and my Svc rep out to my car, isolated that one speaker (in expanded mode, when it is most noticeable) and he realized that they replaced the wrong speaker driver. There are actually two drivers in the rear door speaker enclosure. He replaced the woofer (or midrange) but they now think the problem is coming from the tweeter. So they ordered a new tweeter and I'll find out in a few weeks whether they've resolved this.

I did speak with my service rep about the possible b-pillar washer torque being out of spec and he did check for that because that is a known (and someone common) problem. They eliminated that issue from possibilities and are focused on a defective (or blown) speaker driver.

It's just one of those things that gets in your head after hearing it the first time. Maybe someone else is experiencing this problem and my experience will save you some time.
