I dont get the point of this? Is it weight savings? Because you are removing a good amount of traction surface and loosing mass as a heat sink. Youre also adding failure points to a piece that gets heat stressed a LOT.
I thought it was already known even cross drilled wasnt a good idea for the same reasons..... |
