Breaks and brake lines

Hi all,
Complete noob here when it comes to doing my own work on my car. Decided that it was time to start after I bought a new to me f10 m5. Anyways...

I will need to replace my breaks, 11k miles is what the shop told me. But this is a new car and I've been having a bit of fun with it, so I'd chop that in half. The car is about to hit 50k miles. Do I need to replace the pads and the rotors??? I am assuming yes.

Secondly, planning on replacing the oem break lines with some stainless steel lines. Can I just buy a cheap break bleeder from Harbor Freight or would you recommend something a little more robust? Any advice is greatly appreciated, especially since if I mess this up I could do some serious damage...

P.S. I will have some help from more seasoned guys, so the last part was a joke.

Brake rotors don't need replacing if just a little lipped,a proper shop will measure for minimum thickness on the rotors and they could just need a skim if just liney but seing its done 50k I think likely the lot needs replacing.

Waste of money buying ss b/lines for these cars, the brakes are so sharp with the standard lines.

Thanks for the advice. Guess I'll skip the SS lines.
