Best Stage 1/2 Tune

Hey Guys,

I just bought a '15 F10 M5 CP -- which will mostly be my daily driver.

I purchased a set of AMS Catless Downpipes, in conjunction with a tune or a piggyback that I would like to purchase.

I want something a little more aggressive then stock, but something not so aggressive in order protect the longevity of the engine/transmission (I had bad experiences with my FBO 335i back in the day).

I'm looking for Stage 1 recommendations that I can pair with the catless downpipe for the CEL issue and liven up the car even more than it already is.

Would Bootmod3 be my best bet? Or would something else suffice.

Thanks again!

I'd recommend BPM. I had stage two on the car while I had catless downpipe but went down to stage one after wards. BPMSport

The new bootmod3 OTS reduced torque maps by HCP or the new OpenFlashTablet v2.

Been running the OFT V1.2 tune (I have lower boost version due to we are unsure about the fuel quality in China) about a month on my m6gc in China with NO problem at all. The car runs great and NO CEL or other errors pop up, I guess you guys will have better result as the tune is designed for your fuel quality at first.

I have all OEM hardware except for the titanium exhaust, the car feels much faster and I feel great even running in economy throttle mode.

BPM Stage 1 here. Great tune overall but what sold me to BPM is Customer Service.

The HCP OTS bootmod3 stage 1 & 2 has anyone got the HP figures? Im not looking for it to be bordering on un-drivable but wanting it around 700hp with my downpipes and drop in filters

OpenFlash Stage 1 tune everytime

Great platform, great service and absolutely no issues

With V1.2 I achieved 706bhp at the crank and with the V2 I am expecting even more and better drivability

Well, just an onslaught of HPFP/injector issues that happened a few times every year I owned the car and water pump/electrical issues.

Mods on that car were JB4/Intake/AR Catless Downpipes/FMIC...and I didn't beat the hell out of it either, mostly spirited Map 3 runs and the occasional higher boost Map 5 on the JB4...kept running in to issues and eventually took the mods off and traded it in on my Grand Cherokee.

6MT absolutely loved it though...just left a bad taste in my mouth for upper end power tunes. But I am having higher expectations of this car.

Dont!! ahah I kid i'd do any of the above tunes and also look at DME or ActiveAutowerke - I have their stage 2 and then went 2.5 and don't have issues. But in 2 weeks sending to DME to do custom stg 3 tune
