Replace 305 to 315 for better grip ??

Hello guys,

I run yet 305/25/21 Michelin PSS on 10,5j.

Is it worth to replace them to 315/30/21 for better grip ?
Or does not change anything on the grip ?

Danks for help !!!

Yes, a wider tire will help, although I'm not sure how well 315 is going to sit on the stock wheels.

I'd advise changing the tire from PSS to PS4S, that will definitely help with traction.

the 315 on a 10.5" rim will make the back sloppy (laterally). PS4 gives great traction.

315's may be too much, will give great traction in a lights take off though negligible stance with taking fast curves and quick bends.I'd stick with replacement 305 PS4S's.

Try 305/35-20.

Side wall will help with traction. I ran 305/30-20 MPSS on 343's just fine.

35 side will give issue with rotational speed, i currently have 35 sidewall and it's annoying car jerks on normal speeds and when i want to take off trans gets confused, this doesnt happen with 30 sidewall tires.

Has anyone used Nitto NT555 G2 305/30/20 on 343 M stock wheels that can share their experience?

OP has a 10.5 J rear wheel - OEM is 10J - so 315 on the 10.5J will work. but you should keep the front / rear delta to 30. do increase the front tyre to at least 275/285. other wise stick to 305
