Slip on Muffler Tips 3.5"-4"

Hey all,

I have the stock muffler and Im looking for larger tips that are just slip on. Since ours you can just pull I want to replace them with larger 3.5-4inch, do you where I can find them?

Preferably black in straight cut form no angle or chrome.

Also- whats the diameter of the muffler pipe where the tips are once they are removed?

Thank you!

You can find them on a few sites online if you search, depends what you want. Many use eBay to find quickly and the diameter you want for the tips to fit is 69mm. Measure first if 4'' will fit side by side.

I have searched for these and ordered several. Yet to find one that fits nicely.

I don't want the usual "m" carbon ones.

90mm gloss/matt black would be nice

I settled for the carbon ///M tips with black inner pipe. Best I could find, but I'm really not a fan, although they are a vast improvement over the oem tips they replaced!

I'd love a 90mm metal tip! Carbon fibre doesn't belong on an exhaust IMO! Something must exist! If not I guess I'll have to look into getting something custom made.

I like the look of the slightly slant cut Milltek tips, but don't feel any need to change the exhaust system as I like how the OEM one sounds now running catless downpipes.

I'm in the same boat. Not a fan of the carbon fiber. I'm trying to go for the Dinan look without having to change the exhaust (I'm personally satisfied with it).

I tried asking several muffler shops around the area to see if they're willing to make custom slip on tips assuming I provided a drawing with dimensions and design; all no-bid and instead wanted to weld them on (no thanks).

I know the F80 M3 has bigger piping out of the muffler (only a couple mm bigger). Has anyone tried making a shim?

Make your own... or find a local machine shop/fabricator.
I made these from titanium tubing.

Very cool! Did you make the ring adapter yourself as well? Or is it off the shelf?

Did you start with 24" of the non-polished tube? I don't see a polished version of the 3.5" on their site.

Yes, I bought the 3.5"x 24" non-polished. I thought they had polished as well though.

Looking back, they have 3 and 4 inch polished, but not 3.5 inch.

Also, I went with the thicker 1.2mm wall thickness.
