2015 M5 CP - what are the trade-in and private party expectations?
I'm getting ready to move on to something different and wonder if anyone has insights on the expected trade-in and private party values (I looked at KBB but it looks to be highly inaccurate compared to what is on sale around).
2015 CompPack, Singapore Gray, Amaro Brown, Driver Assistance Plus, Exec package, B&O, Enhanced B/S smartphone, M-performance CF trim. 34K miles with warranty through July. Thanks! |

As a prospective buyer (I happen to be in the market for an F10 M5) I'm going to guess that trade in will be mid-high 40's and private party should be $5-7k more, so you're looking at listing for $55 and maybe getting a bit more than $50. That's an interesting combo though and maybe for the right buyer, you'll get full asking. History, Condition of the car, maintenance rec's and any needed "reconditioning" (does it need new fluids, tires, brakes, paint correction, etc.) always play a huge role in getting full asking or getting low-balled.

Sorry to say it will be less there are some 14s for sale around $40k
if it has ceramic brakes it may be a little more just put a feeler in the classified section . better to sell it while it still has warranty so maybe they can extend the warranty |

PMs are replied. From what I’ve seen, CCB is actually a negative and not a positive due to the high replacement cost. Most options are usaully impacting the appeal and sellability of the car, not the actual cost. CP, B&O, condition and miles are the main drivers.
I will probably publish it for sale both with classifieds and CL to judge the interest while waiting for my next car opportiunity to show up. Worst case, I’ll trade in and do ED in the fall/winter time frame. |
