Have one of the MVC in carbon fiber, no issues. Purchased on Amazon. Looked at the Ridge product, couldn't justify the higher cost.

I used wear out cheaper wallets ever 2 or 3 years. Then my wife got me a Coach wallet. At first I didn't like it because the slots to hold the credit cards were so tight. After a couple of weeks they loosened up but it was still hard to get cards in and out for maybe a year. It was a pain. After that, it was perfect. Cards slide in and out easily but they won't fall out. The leather just won't wear out. This Coach wallet is perfect for me.
Oh, you want to know how old it is? She gave it to me in 1995. It's 29 years and still looks just broken in. |

I got a bifold card carrier at the Coach outlet store in Carmel in the early 90s and carried it daily until last year. The pockets were and are just as you describe. Now I just carry it when I'm traveling and want all my cards with me. It is an exceptionally well-made piece of leatherwork, with every stitch still in place.

Got one of these https://www.raphaelqualitygoods.com/ from his kickstarter days, around 10 yrs ago. It could use a cleaning from wearing jeans but it's been solid. It's about the same thickness as a cellphone fully loaded with cards (and a couple folded up bills).

Even if you have your insurance card(s) with you, do you have to be conscious when wheeled into the emergency room so you can sign the admittance papers, or is a card enough for the hospital to decide what level of care they're going to provide you with. Anyone know?

I got a knockoff Ridge wallet on Amazon for $25, I think it is the Mountain Voyage brand and it is nice.

I've got a Rose Anvil bi-fold, holds 4 cars and has two side pockets underneath, very simple and not nearly as thick as it looks.
